How to get there?

You can reach the Coffee Cultural Landscape of Colombia by air using the airports El Eden in Armenia, Matecaña in Pereira or La Nubia in Manizales, the airlines that travel to the destination are: Avianca, Copa Airlines, Latam, Easyfly, Satena and Wingo, soon Jetsmart.

 

If you travel by land you can take advantage of the public transportation services that arrive at the terminals of each coffee municipality with a very good frequency of trips or in your private vehicle taking as main route the coffee highway.

The transport will pick you up at the hotel where you are staying, we will begin by getting to know the Antioquia colonization represented in the monument Homenaje a los Fundadores located on Circunvalar Avenue which we will take to climb a few more meters to the Parque de la Rebeca, the woman with a bowl reference in the capital of Risaraldense will show us the way to the new Canceles 360° viewpoint with views of the Consotá and Otún rivers, a place that served for pilgrimages and funerals of the Quimbaya indigenous people who inhabited these rich lands.

 

Afterwards we will go to the Villa Santana commune to take the Megacable public transportation system to Olaya Herrera Park where we will walk along Fundación Street to the exact place where Pereira was founded, there you can capture a very good photo with the Naked Bolívar .

 

In this square we will take our private transportation again which will take us to Cuba and the Olympic Village, from this point we can visit the Cerritos neighborhood on the road to Cartago Valle del Cauca to connect to the El Pollo Variant and visit the Mirador de las Camelias, Through this variant we will reach the municipality of Dosquebradas and go up the Helicoidal Bridge to the Tambo El Privilegio.

 

In this last viewpoint we can see the municipality of Santa Rosa de Cabal, famous for its chorizos and natural hot springs produced by the volcanic activity of the Los Nevados National Natural Park; To finish, we will return to your hotel crossing the iconic Viaduct.

● In the Coffee Region the probability of rain is high, so it is recommended to be prepared to have sun and rain several times during the experience in

the same day since the phenomenon of microclimates occurs as in other regions of the country.

● If you take specific medications, take them with you. It is never unnecessary to carry a personal first aid kit

  ● It can be recommended between a conventional passenger vehicle or a traditional Willys Jeep.


  ● If the traveler wishes to carry out the service in their own transport, it is necessary to re-quote the itinerary already

that the driver will be the traveling tourist himself; The traveler must be informed that the reduction in

cost ranges between approximately 15% and 24% but a final rate can only be given once

we have the minimum necessary information such as travel date, hotel location, phone number
