Taganga is a district of Santa Marta, Magdalena, Colombia. It is made up of a town on the shores of the bay of the same name whose traditional activity has been fishing, although recently tourism has gained great prominence. Access is possible by road from the center of Santa Marta.

A sculpture built by the master Rodrigo Arenas Betancourth, in honor of all the founders of Pereira, it represents all the peasants who fought for their independence and hegemony of the Antioquian and Caucan land, demonstrating their worth and love for this land which has commemorated their battle and their effort in the form of art, Pereira and Prometheus are considered the protective titan of human civilization.
